If Jesus is the face of God, we have seen the face of love
And looking in the face of love we know that God believes in us
If Jesus is the face of God, we have heard forgiveness call
If mercy is the heart of love, we know that God receives us all

We can see truth we can see grace, we can see love in Jesus face

If Jesus is the face of God, we know God is on our side
If God is for all human – kind, our longing for justice will be realized
Our hopes will be realized

God won’t shame us he reclaims us, never leaves us nor deceives us
God pur – sues us his spirit woos us, to love and to be loved

If Jesus is the face of God, we have seen the face of love
